Director of the Center for Photographic Art, Carmel, California

Brian is honored to serve as the new Director of the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel California. Tracing our roots back to the Friends of Photography founded by Cole Weston and Ansel Adams in the 1960s, CPA remains the second oldest, longest running, most prestigious photography member organization in America (behind Alfred Stieglitz's Camera Club of New York, founded in the 1880s and still in existence). Please visit our website and join us for one of our many exciting upcoming lectures, exhibitions and workshops: photography.org

Workshop: From Joshua Tree to the Salton Sea

Our expedition will be led by Brian Taylor and Ted Orland, two seasoned photographers intimately familiar with this surreal corner of California.
